WeatherWe are 6500 feet up in the mountains of Guatemala, so the weather is quite nice even though we are near the equator. Highs for the month of March average 79 degrees and then cool off to around 56 degrees at night. We travel during the dry season so we don't usually expect much rain.

Packing ListClick on the link below if you would like suggestions on what to pack. There are LOTS of good suggestions here so we highly suggest you at least take a look.

This was my first mission trip and as everyone keeps asking me how my experience was, even though I've said it a million times, I don't think I'll ever get tired of telling our stories - of how God used us for just that one week and how He personally has transformed my heart." Belinda
Step 1 : Apply and Fill Out Consent FormsPlease fill out the initial application and consent forms directly below. After filling out the forms, we will review them then contact you with further instructions.
|
Step 2 : Plane TicketsAfter receiving an approval letter from Dr. Sperry, all participants must purchase their own plane tickets on one of the designated flights.
The designated flights are currently TBD. Dr. Sperry will email you the specific flight numbers. Again, you must purchase one of these exact flights. No other flights will be accepted for this trip. The cost for these flights ranges from $420-$1330 depending on when you purchase your ticket. In our experience, the sooner you purchase the ticket the better the price will be. |
Step 3 : Pay Trip FeeOnce you have purchased your plane ticket, email a copy of your flight confirmation to Dr. Sperry at GuatemalanSmiles@gmail.com.
After Dr. Sperry has confirmed you have booked the correct flight he will send you a final confirmation email and ask you to proceed in paying the trip dues. |
